Danese Milano Ziggurat - educational game
Enzo Mari draws Ziggurat as a memory of his childhood. Ziggurat is a triangle made up of wooden sticks of different colours and in size, dedicated to children to entertain and develop their imagination, but also aimed at adults as a cult object for excite and free the mind. Each stick respects a precise module so that the compositions created always present an intrinsic harmony thanks also to the colours chosen: white, black, primary and secondary colours. It is an eco-educational game, a sort of sculpture abstract art that teaches how to relate to colours and shapes, using "good" materials. The birch wood is treated with Aquatech, a special Ilva paint completely free from aromatic solvents certified for use by children. The paint colours the wood without covering it completely, it allows a glimpse of the grain and irregularities, revealing the beauty of a "living" material.
